He was interviewed on 1600 AM a couple of days ago.

He seemed to pronounce English words like "Ellinger" and "Eddie Pope" pretty well.

Maybe he has Hideo Nomo syndrome? (That's when your ability to speak English mysteriously disappears in the presence of members of the news media.)
