RSL 11th and the Rapids 9th? Guess your most recent outing is heavily weighted in this thing. Maybe when we win both games this week we'll soar to the top spot.

Haven't seen this posted in awhile:

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/powerranking?league=USA.1&season=2006&week=25&cc=5901

Is this the highest we've been?

Looks like we surpassed it once in late August - a move to #6. So far, that's the highest mark RSL has ever had this season (and probably last season as well).

Dallas loses at home? Wow, I didn't know that Frisco, TX was so close to Salt Lake City, heck, I didn't know that Rice Eccles Stadium was in Frisco. I could have SWORN that it was on the University of Utah campus. Is the University of Utah located in Frisco, TX? I sure hope Ives wrote that one. Next thing you know, we'll be playing the Dallas Burn in Tampa Bay, FL. If you listen to Ives, that is.

But maybe he was referring to the loss to Chivas on Wednesday night in Frisco TX....

Just a thought...
