I hope so as well...

However, I am of the opinion that both sides are asking the other side for too much. If they aren't careful everyone in that whole mess could end up with 100% of nothing.

I'm in the same boat. Looking to take the kids to D-Land this fall with my miles, and if this goes south, so does our trip. 🙁

I'm a step ahead of you two. I just finished a trip to Boston with my husband and son, using up some of our SkyMiles. I still have 30K to use, though... Hawaii....

I've got a friend who is a pilot for them...

His opinion...Delta will cease to exist...soon...unless the govt steps in. The pilots are so fed up with the management (despite the huge losses, the top management has Enronized the books to create false profits and huge bonuses for themselves) that the pilots are ready to not only shut down the company via strike...they are ready to make the company close its doors completely and cease to exist...

The pilots fear that this is actually the management's intent as well...

Oh, well.

I guess we all get to line up for plastic cards now.

And if I ever save up enough money to go back to Playa del Carmen (Quintana Roo, Mexico), there's Allegro Airlines and its food rejected from a junior high lunchroom. (Sorry, KC. Love your country. But no one in any way connected with its airlines can make edible food.)
