Well, if those guys paid attention to the game, they'd know that those numbers are were they were after 14 games without a win.

Kids these days, I tell ya.....

Well, considering the Blaze have more season ticket holders than RSL, I'm not surprised.

More season ticket holders, but a lower average attendance. Because of a smaller amount of games, Blaze season tix are a bit easier to sell than RSL season tickets.

Who wouldn't pay $10 to see 2/3 of the field?

But this is also Utah, and that is football. Football is going to be more popular, it's just how it is. I heard some kid last night walking by at the movie premier saying how much "The Real" sucked. So sad.

Arena football is such a joke

Here's how arena football got started: A couple execs who weren't bright enough to work in the NFL got together to discuss a new league.
Exec 1: "How do we start a league?"
Exec 2: "Well, our target demographic should be fat white suburban American idiot men because they can't seem to get enough football."
Exec 1: "Let's round some up and have a focus group."
So they had a focus group.
Exec 1: "Tell us everything you would change about football."
Idiot 1: "I want to see scoring, dammit. If there isn't a touchdown every 6.3 seconds, I'm changing the channel."
Idiot 2: "Yeah, and I hate running plays.....they're so boring. I want to see nothing but passing."
Idiot 1: "In fact, maybe you can just get rid of the defense entirely. If not, at least change the rules to it's impossible for the defense to stop anyone."
Idiot 2: "And even though each team scores on every possession, I don't want to see any ties. My brain just can't process the idea of a tie, even if the two teams are evenly matched and they both deserve the result. Make somebody win, dammit!"
Idiot 1: "Yeah, and at the stadium, make sure there's plenty of cheap American beer. And I want to hear obnoxiously loud jock rock playing the whole time. And no-talent cheerleaders with big racks."

And thus arena football was born. Their motto was "The AFL: Because Defense Is Overrated."

Actually the ties in Arena football ended just this year.
