Jamie Watson status!

I dont know if this has been posted yet or not but it looks like this is why jamie watson is in the dog house right now:

"Other young players, almost rookies, are going through their own growth in the league. After a tough first year, Chad Barrett has become a starter for the Chicago Fire, while Jamie Watson provides RSL with energy off the bench. He didn't make the lineup for the first game of the season, but that was due to an amateur mistake unrelated to his playing skill. Watson missed a team gathering because he forgot to account for the daylight savings time change."

Wow, that's hillarious! I was afraid he got in some type of heated locker room arguement ala Clint Mathis.

Jamie is also dealing with a strained hammy - he says he feels good enough to go Saturday but it will be up to the trainers.

I think it's funny that so much was made of him missing the game when all it was a "kid" mistake with the time change. Even though he should of been more responsible with setting his clock forward, if that's the worse thing he does, that's not bad. I've heard that he's not in the dog house any more (obviously he's not since he was on the roster with FC Dallas) and that he will not be suited out this weekend due to the injury. I believe he's been at practice this week so hopefully we will see him back on the pitch playing by the next game.

As of yesterday he will dress. He is officially listed as probable.

That makes me feel better assuming that is the whole story. It was an honest mistake. He just wasn't paying attention and it caught him. I was hoping it wasn't some sort of more serious behavior related problem. I am sure I would make the same mistake if my wife didn't always remind me about daylight savings time. Hopefully we will see Jamie on the field soon!

He was late for practice on Tuesday.....

He and Cameron Knowles were running around. Is it possible to forget twice?

Oh wait, Watson and Knowles were late for what???..ice sessions with the trainer?? It's a little hard to be late for practice when you're on the injured list and not practicing.
