It's just not that often that a 'keeper gets a red from what I've seen. It just struck me as odd. I still have to watch the game.

Why couldn't he be bothered to play in the US - England friendly in sold-out Soldier Field in Chicago last year? That certainly had more potential than playing in Provo.

Don't get me wrong, I think it would be awesome for Real Madrid to come to Utah. But from their perspective it would have to be a pretty sweet deal to go to a state with a population just over 2.3 million and play a team that is at the bottom of a league that is not well-regarded internationally. What exactly is in it for them? Maybe they would send a squad to LA or New York that would include one or two marquee players, but not their entire first team. RM is not Fulham, after all. Anything RM would hope to achieve by sending a team over could be achieved by sending a youth development/reserve team, with maybe one or two big names.

A good indicator will be to see who Chelsea sends to Bridgeview. Since I have tickets I hope I get to yell at Drogba as he flops around on the field, but I'm not counting on it.
