I didn't hear what was said, but people in Section 37 were yelling racist at Guevara (and maybe also at the hispanic referee), so they must have heard something.

This is just another sad example of a growing problem in "the beautiful game". I truly hope that if Guevara did make a racist comment the league will punish him harshly and set a precedent for these types of behaviors.

I am really curious as to why the referee did not give Guevara a caution after being informed of the incident by the fourth official, at least for "Conduct detrimental to the game".

The chant was directed at Guevara. Williams came over to the fourth official and said that Guevara called him a monkey. Williams was very adamant about it. Beaveman, you're not that much farther away - I can't believe you didn't here what Williams was saying.

Sorry, I was discussing the match with my dad at the time - not paying attention to Williams until I saw him yelling at the official. Couldn't make out what he was saying.
