RSL vs LAG

Hey guys. Just wanted to give you the heads up that I have three or four LA Riot Squad friends coming out for the game. They may or may not be showing up for the tailgate and they will be sitting in E38 because thats where the FO suggested they sit so they can put up a banner to support their team. Just wanted to let you know they are my friends so you know if you see them at the tailgate that they are good guys.... (assuming you think Im a good girl...LOL).

I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!! Dunnys comin home.

Be warned that they are sitting right next to RCB, and I've heard that RCB doesn't exactly plan to bring out the welcome wagon. I'm opposed to any type of bad natured fan bashing at games (it just leads to bad sportsmanship and fights), so I hope they're either very patient, or are OK with moving elsewhere in the stadium if things get too ugly. 🙁

Yes they are aware of this problem, as am I. My friends dont want to move as these are good seats, they can put their banner up, and this is where the FO told them to sit. Apparently there isnt anywhere front row to move them to I guess. They are nice guys and are not here to fight or anything, they just want to support their team just as we do when we go on our roadtrips.

Heres to good sportsmanship and the beautiful game! :wine:

**Jose Luis...what kind of beer do u want???

Anything from Trader Joe's is OK.

Tell them to head over to the West Side. They can recover from their hangovers in the shade and they can annoy the rich people.

I think all boards need sarcasm tags.

To be fair, the RCB is not a bad group of guys. From time to time one or two of them get a little carried away, but the Riot Squad has quite a reputation of its own.

RCB is the more extreme supporters group in how they conduct themselves at games, but are on the whole very good people.

Quite honestly if you can't take a least a little crap you probably shouldn't visit an opposing teams stadium.

Here's to all RSL fans regardless of their affiliation or lack there of making visitors feel welcome (while still harassing them about thier team). :wine:

Some of the Galaxians are on their way, too. Or at least one of them. I told them they should go to the West Side, but they want to be in a place where they can hang up their banner.

Like that old supporter of the New England Revolution Benjamin Franklin once said, "We must all hang together or we will most assuredly hang separately. Or be forced to have nothing to watch but NASCAR and baseball, which is a fate worse than death."

Well, he would have said that if he had seen NASCAR and baseball.

I guess you could say we aren't well enough established to truly detest each other yet.

One big soccer family.

Play nice.

Play beautiful.
