This will be tricky. St. Maarten is a member of Concacaf but not of Fifa. For Fifa purposes it is a territory of the Netherlands. So, St. Maarten can play in Concacaf and international friendlies, they could not qualify for the World Cup.

I am in parts of the Dutch speaking caribbean aevery 4 months or so, and always checking for Jerseys and never seem to be able to find them.

-Game worn Solomon Islands Nats jersey
-Game worn Samoa Nats Jersey
-Game worn Tonga Nats jersey
-Nokia of Nadi Jersey

Now those are crazy!

On a recent trip to England I told me sis and bro-in-law not to worry about jerseys or things unless they knew it was from a small team. I can buy those jerseys here via the internet. What I can't find easily are things like Southend United. But getting ahold of a jersey for Samoa or some like Finish club (Is that what Nokia of Nadi is???) is pure craziness. Great finds!

Nokia of Nadi was a team in the Fiji Football league.

I travel a fair amount, and try to make my travel coincide with cool soccer matches whenever possible. And I am always looking for jerseys, and most of my friends know that.

Last year I tried to get a Jason Roberts Wigan jersey when it looked like he was going to go to West Ham. At that time Wigan had no agreements for fan jersey sales with any producers or distributors. Funny, that.

Fiji, eh? Again - Pure craziness! 🙂

I vaguely remember hearing something about that with Wigan. It seems like a few clubs there have tried going their own route. I think Southampton has handled their jersey design and distribution for the last year or two. I'd be curious to know if it's a new thing or not for them to try that.

This was a cool one because of how far Holland got in the 2002 World Cup.

Just a reminder for the bargain jersey folks, remember to look for discounted national team jerseys when the WC is over. Depending on your size you've probably already missed out on the sales for the a lot of team jerseys.
