Sorry. I'm an idiot, but an optimistic one.

I thought he was a Morroccan-born US citizen. Guess not.

However, I didn't say he would be playing for the US Nats, though, right? HA!

Regardless, in my opinion (whether you agree with it or not), I thought he played extremely well, and the creativity I saw from him and many others on the offensive third was very entertaining to watch - despite the result.

I'm just waiting for that creativity to result in a goal...

The Crew broadcasters even said that he needs to start playing more selfishly. I guess that despite the creativity, if the guys up front have a hard time doing anything with the ball, he should start shooting instead of passing.

I believe Ballouchy is a Moroccan born American.
Although he has suited up for the Moroccan U-17 team.
He is not listed as an International on the RSL roster.

I believe he is eligible to play for the USA as well, but I may be wrong.

EDIT:
ESPN has him listed as Moroccan.
So I guess i will haev to ask him.

I'm not sure how he can be an American if he only moved to the US in 2000. BTW, He is a Generation Adidas player in MLS.

BTW, I've seen several foreign flags hanging over by the Loyalists during the games. I'm not sure I've seen a Morocco flag though.

The Morocco flag has definitely been there. I was wondering what country that one was for actually. I guess I could have just asked, but now I don't need to.

your wait would be shorter if you could get the other players to actually MOVE off the ball.

Ballouchi made a perfect pass last game through all the defenders right at the 6...Jeff just stood there and watched it...

I took my five-year-old son to the game and after the game he said, "I score more goals than they do. huh dad?" I just about fell over. Its funny how quick kids can cut to the chase.

Against the Galaxy, as Hiba pointed out in another thread...
the run of play was, pass to Gustavo... one touch... lose ball.... repeat.

But that was certainly not the case against Crew.
Cabrera had an awesome match on Sunday. He was very aggressive on and off the ball. He earned a yellow and was a big problem for the Crew offense.

But the dude is a defender and he's playing midfield?!?

What the heck. This coaching staff is confounding.
