Adidas has announced new uppers for their F50.6 Tunit line of boots called X-32. There is one new upper for each country in the World Cup. You can get them from Eurosport.

Some of them look dumb (honestly I think the USA one is stupid), but some of them, like Japan's, look so dope.

:jawdrop:
If I were ever going to spend $375 on a pair of boots, this might be the time.

Bad news for all you streakers...

World Cup organisers plan to use touchline referees to stop streakers disrupting games this summer. The officials and German football association (DFB) members will sit in areas near the pitch in order to keep an eye on the crowd around them.

While Fox is analyzing the WC teams, you can analyze all the WC players here. They have compiled a player guide for each of the 736 players competing in Germany. The guides contain each player's World Cup history and some background information on them that's worth a look.

I would like those, if it weren't for Fujisan on the side. Just put a dang Japanese flag there, stupids!

USA Defeat Charleston 5-0 in Closed Door Scrimmage

The United States Men’s National Team defeated the USL’s Charleston Battery 5–0 in a scrimmage at SAS Soccer Park on Thursday. Bruce Arena’s squad has been training at the Park for the past week.

Landon Donovan scored twice and DaMarcus Beasley and Eddie Johnson added goals for the national squad in the first half. Midfielder John O’Brien scored off a free kick in the second half to add to the United States’ tally.

The U.S. will wrap up training in Cary on Saturday, May 20. Training camp remains closed to the public.

The Costa Rican government on Wednesday declared June 9 a national holiday so that employees can watch the World Cup opener between Germany and Costa Rica.
