The bennies of the World Cup Each player selected to the United States World Cup men's team will receive $37,500 plus an additional $3,750 for each game played by the team during the tournament. The player pool will receive $150,000 for each point earned in the first round and $2,775,000 if the Americans advance to the second round.

I'm far too lazy to research this.
But I have to imagine that it would be very entertaining to see what the guys from the 1990 World Cup team got. And even more fun to see what they got in the late 80's. | |||||

The G-14 sent me a 4-pack of Boddington's so that I'd be sure to point out that the clubs get paid nothing which the nats use the clubs players. 🙂
