1st round draft pick? Nice! We could use more Mehdi's around (or Nic, etc.)

Anyone know anything about Hashimoto? Will RSL do anything to get a 3rd keeper or go with the Sackett option again?

I wasn't impressed with Palmer in the exhibition last year, but it sounds like he impressed lots of other people if he was pushing Nolly for the backup job. Sounds a little bitter about the lack of playing time - thats what I like about Nolly. He stays upbeat and looks at it as a challenge to work harder and fight for playing time/starting job.

The 1st round pick thing has GOT to be an error...I can't imagine that the Crew would give that up. Would they?

Yes, they are desperate for a keeper.

Looks like Crew PR is reporting that it's a first round pick from the *supplemental* draft. No link, no real evidence, just chatter from Columbus boards saying they talked with someone at the front office.

1st round pick in the supplimental draft isn't too bad. I'm not sure what to make of this. How much potential did Noah have? Seems a like pretty decent since even after his injury last year (+ getting waived), RSL brought him back in.

So who does RSL bring in as a 3rd GK? Or do they just make use of one of the league-wide back ups.

I think it's a good move. Nolly is clearly the RSL keeper of the future, I think, so why not?
