(Hi Jamie! We love you!! Come back from Texas soon!)
Point taken. Perhaps it was a tactic, but it didn't work out. I guess I should follow my own philosophy and give others the benefit of the doubt.

That was one of two classic TV shots from the FCD game. The other was of Dunseth. As he jogs off the field at the end of the first half, he has a smirk on his face (as he looks over at the FCD bench?)--and then he winks. I'm not sure at whom, but my son and I just about fell out of our chairs it was so funny.
The wink and smirk were priceless. I like you and your son fell out of the chair laughing. You could only imagine what was going thru his mind.

Jamie if you are reading this (or any of his closet girlfriends) I wasn't SUBTLY critizing you, I was being fairly blatant, forthright and truthful.
I didn't realize there were "no critical comments allowed" on this thread.
I am sure Luke K would say the same thing as me. Besides, young Mr. Watson wants us to be contructive and critical of him at times. It shows that we really care. Heck I was the first one to coin the phrase Sparky (which is way better than Gnat). And if that fails, I can just say "I know your Uncle, Jamie, now listen up!"

Fixed my post. (See above)

I met Jamie's parents last Saturday at the game. Very, very, very nice folks. For all those girls with major crushes on Jamie, I can say: That wouldn't be a bad family to marry into. I could have enjoyed chatting w/ Jamie's dad for hours probably because he's just a nice human being. 🙂

I am guessing that Jamie and DJ will have "competition" from Cabrera when he gets in the limelight.

BTW Everything I say is laced with sarcasm. I can't help it.

I don't think Jamie HAS "closet" girlfriends. I was at the FC Dallas game about an hour early (to scarf down my pre-game brat, natch), and watched two young groupies first whistle at Jamie & friends doing windsprints, then make their way down to the front row for a chat (and, I'm sure, a phone number exchange). I guess what I'm saying, is: Girls, if you're after Jamie, you gotta be bold.

Lol, I think it's hilarious because he shows it towards team-mates too. In practice he riles people up too. I think it's just his personality and it makes me laugh. Oh well, we all love Jamie cause he's a total sweetie!!! And I agree with what Jules said, Come back from Texas soon!

Okay, that's it. Next time I see him, I'm gonna ask him for his phone number.

Oh wait.... what would I call him for? "Hi Jamie, I'm making pot roast on Sunday. Want to come eat dinner with me and my husband and my three wild children? It'll be fun. You can be the jungle gym." I'm sure he'd be waaaaay excited about that!! 🙂

Lol, somehow I think he might take you guys up on that if you asked him enough... I'm sure he wouldn't mind not having to cook for himself and still getting something home cooked... Then again he might feel akward... You never know... The only way to find out is to ask!
