Best answer...

q: Shaq or Kobe?
a: neither

Also, Nelson "the Minister" Akwari hasn't received all that much pub, so far. Good to get to know some of the "non-superstar" (yet) players...

I'll be positive so I won't comment on Whitfield. But Nelson Akawri aka Mr. Minister, is a stud. He was one of the hardest working players on the field when I saw the preseason matches. I bet he is the only player on the team that played 90 minutes in most of the RSL preseason games.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that they both picked Backstreet Boys over N*Sync...

I'm still trying to get over the fact that they answered the question.
My answer would have been "who?" 🙁

And it keeps on coming...

Saw speculation on BS from Seattle fans that Jamie might be heading their way. I sincerely hope not, mostly because of this journal. Oh, and he's a good player, too.

Better way to score a goal: chipping the 'keeper or 'megging the 'keeper
AW: Chipping, just ask DJ

Love it. DJ seems to be able to take a joke pretty well, as if he's set himself up as kind of the "class clown". He would be my favorite player, if only I could call him Delvin.

My confidence in Andy Williams is completely shaken. I don't care if he dodged the Beyonce/Jessica Simpson question, or failed to answer correctly to N*Sync/Backstreet Boys (the ONLY acceptable answer is "neither.")

But he chose McDonalds over In-N-Out. I'm stunned. I'm (nearly) speechless. Most of all I'm very worried about a playmaker who makes such BAD choices. We're trusting our team to a man who would choose the "vat of stuff" from which any McD's product is microwaved instead of the perfection that is an In-N-Out burger (I recommend the Double-Double).

I only hope he plays soccer for RSL better than he chooses fast food.

Shameful. 😉

Amen on that! What was he thinking? In-N-Out makes the best burgers of any fast food place easily.
