I'm sure even you could play the triangle, the tambourine, or the cymbals. Even if you can't play any of those, every band needs someone to just dance in the background, so hop on the bandwagon. :D

What isn't meaningless is the good showing of some of our young players, like Luke Kreamalmeyer. With USMNT callups a likely thing for 2-3 players every World Cup Qualifier, depth is a valuable commodity.

Good point!!!! Depth will play an important role especially when Cup games and regular season games come around and then the National Team callups for the WCQ!!! So the preseason is important!!!! RSL SC is 3-1-1 with the 3-2 victory over the Wiz!!!!!

GOAL ReAL!!!!!!!!! Wizards get a ReAL whipping!!!!!! šŸ™„ :o šŸ™„

You're right, the final score and record don't mean much, but the effort and play does!!!!!

GO ReAL!!!!!!!!

My only thing about Benhcke is that when I saw him play in several preseason matches, I thought he was struggling. He was out a lot last year at Dallas, so maybe he was just not fit. In any case, glad he scored today. Good job Matt (and Jason and whoever else scored).

BTW RSL's front office rocks.

So after the 5-1 loss to DC, we were all in the "Preseason is meaningless" camp. I'm ready to jump on to the "Preseason is a very accurate indicator of future success" bandwagon. Anyone else?
I got slammed when I mentioned that people might possibly change their tune after winning, instead of losing. I'll just keep quiet and enjoy the changeable state of human nature. I love seeing people deceive themselves. :p

I'm mainly excited by the fact that I emailed RSL and they quickly emailed me back with the score.
I thought that was pretty cool.
Of course, they might not have been so happy to email me if we lost 5-1. šŸ™

Let me set the record straight, here. I'm not getting over-excited by this pre-season victory. All I'm saying is that we're probably going undefeated this season.

Some of us have been COMPLETELY consistent on this. OK, so that's boring and has no entertainment value. You get what you pay for.

My statements are rarely meant to apply to everybody everywhere. So nobody specific should take offense. (Frankly nobody at all should take offense, but that's not in my control.)
