I would think at this point it could be anyone. I haven't heard anything about specific teams being linked. I'd almost wonder if soem fo the teams at the bottom weren't involved.
No offense but I'd feel extra less sorry for Roma if they were involved and get relegated. IMHO they should've been a couple years ago based on finances. __________________

Hmm.. looks like Reggina of all teams may be one of the two they were referring to.
article I hope the other is not Roma!!! It kills me to say this as a huge Roma fan but it wouldn't surprise me if it was.. their management has not been known for its compliance with rules in recent years. __________________

Looks like Roma is safe... this article:
another article says that the two teams involved are lower-level teams in Serie A. Reggina fits that bill. I hope the other one is Messina (mutha@#$%) so they get booted back down to B. Maybe Roma started obeying all the rules after their troubles a few years ago. anyhow, FORZA ROMA PER SEMPRE __________________

Appeals Verdict due anytime
From Soccernet Gazzetta Dello Sport says it will be coming at 8:30 PM (12:30 our time) And they are guessing: Lazio back to Serie A but with points deduction Milan allowed to play in Uefa Cup Fiorentina possibly in Serie A with deduction or in Serie B with no deduction Juve stays in Serie B but with less deduction Interesting. __________________ SPQR How am I not myself? Wow. Either these clubs made a compelling case or the next investigation will be for "appeals court fixing"
Milan plays in Champions Lazio and Fiorentina in Serie A with small punishments Juve still in Serie B but with only -17 points rather than -30 or -40 or whatever it was Story from Soccernet If you understand Italian (Spanish speakers could probably get some of it) From Gazzetta Dello Sport __________________

The judge who reduced all four teams sentences defended his actions by declaring that he felt Italian Football had already suffered a great deal, and had fixed itself. Sounds like business as usual in Italy to me.
There is a poll in the Guardian today showing 86% of voters think that reducing those punishment was the wrong thing to do. __________________
