If they are at 40,000 now, I think that they could sell out based on Day Of Game sales.

45,000

I know for the Womens National Team Friendly against Czech Republic a few years ago, there were so many walk ups that people missed the entire first half. I don't know what the total amount sold was, but I was one that went home and watched it on TV rather than wait in line for an hour.

From their website "Capacity of Rice-Eccles Stadium is 45,017 with outstanding site lines for sporting events & concerts"

No, as a matter of fact, I don't have any friends.

The USWMT played against Eire.

It's a good thing that more fans did not get in to see that game. Some of the fans that were there were making too much noise.

Rice Eccles Stadium Staff versus Merengue fans smoking one of their 3 packs of Fortunas that day may be a more interesting contest than what is happening on the field.

That's the way the stadium was configured for the USMNT Qualifier last year.

Yeah, all those damned Blitzz fans sitting wherever the hell they wanted to and having the audacity to bang drums and disturb the fans arriving 2 hours after the start of the first match.

😉

So, what's the latest with today's press conference? Shouldn't it be right around now?

To get his team ready, Capello is prepared to put his players through two training sessions per day, in addition to a pair of games this week. The busy week begins today with practices in the morning and the evening and a press conference sandwiched in between.

This, so far, off RSL's website:

Meet the press: It's Real vs. Real in Utah
Real Salt Lake and Real Madrid held a joint press conference Tuesday in Salt Lake City. Madrid captains Raul and Roberto Carlos were on hand, as were Real Madrid head coach Fabio Capello and RSL Owner David W. Checketts. The archive will be available soon.
