I saw this on www.realsaltlake.com today, take a survey and you can get a free ticket to see the Rapids game on September 2.

Yeah, but when I completed the survey it said I would be placed in a drawing for tickets to the Aug. 5 game in Chicago...WTF?

More quality detailing by the RSL staff.

Didn't anybody else notice that the Access Real newsletter changes format earlier this year and included an unsubscribe link that said, "If you would prefer not to receive future mailings from DC United...." I emailed several people in the FO pointing this out and I still don't know if it got changed because I haven't gotten one in forever.

Also, that page says the tickets will be mailed to you but it doesn't include a place for you to enter your address, no? So do they call to give you a sales pitch before getting the address to mail them to? We'll see...

Or was it just a huge ploy to get everyone to fill out the survey. You also have to wonder about "while supplies last". There could only be 2 tickets in the supply drawer. Conspiracy theorists unite.

I got this message as well. Is there a game next year in Chicago on August 5th? If so, I'm still not sure I'll be able to make that one even with a free ticket.

Just got an email. Looks like it wasn't a trick after all. Only one survey per household, though.

Yeah, it would have been nice for a notice prior. We could have used different mailing addresses! They are $20 premium tix rather than $27.

I have 2 free ticket emails that I can print out and mail to someone who wants them. PM me. I'll be in Bear Lake that weekend. I really wanted to go to a cRapids game this year...oh well. I hope we win 🙂
