Praxis & Czar's AS ROMA thread

This thread is for all AS Roma fans. So basically me and Praxis.

The season is pretty close, but I have to admit I don't know if la Roma can get past Inter and Milan this year (even with Milan's punishment)

I think we'll finish 3rd, but I'm hoping of course for the scudetto!

FORZA ROMA PER SEMPRE

Here's the top 10 goals from last year:

From Youtube

Offseason analysis: I'm really pissed we let Bovo go, he was really underrated! Palermo got a steal in him and I wish we would have kept him.

L'A.S. Roma didn't do enough in the transfer market, we needed help at forward especially. Montella is too broken all the time and Okaka is too young all the time.

I need to read up on the changes that have been going on. Is there an English website that you check on or do you go to Italian ones? My Italian isn't great, but i may be able to fumble through it. Basically any links you have would be appreciated. I usually rely on foxsports, which isn't the indepth analysis that i want.
To the tune of the White Stripes:
Goal Goal Goal Goal Goal Goal Goal

Here is a cool video featuring the Curva Sud singing that Seven Nation Army:

Again From YouTube

It was from an Italian TV show, after Roma beat Lazio 2-0 in the derby

It was also the first game after Totti got injured, and the game that gave Roma the all-time consecutive wins streak (11) in Serie A.

All the players afterwards put on Totti shirts including Coach Spalletti, which said "Forza Capitano" on the front.

Other than when Roma won the scudetto, this has been my favorite victory since becoming a Roma fan in 2000.

Praxis I usually get my Roma news from Italian sites, but also the Roma thread on BS has some good info, usually in English.

What are the chances we can get that chant going after a goal?

Ha, that would be sweet. Even not after a goal would be sweet... but everyone seems to realize that I get all my chant/song ideas from l'A.S. Roma, and they aren't always ready to go along with it.

Let's try the Seven Nation Army one next home game.

L'A.S. Roma's draw in Champions League:

AS Roma
Valencia
Olympiakos
Shaktar Donetsk

Definitely not the toughest group, I think Roma have a great chance to advance. Valencia is good but Roma could conveivably beat all three of those teams.

We are rocking in Serie A right now. Too bad about the loss to Milan though. At least it was Inter and not AC, although that is cold comfort.

Yeah, it was a tough loss at home. I was able to watch parts of it on Rai International in between classes and Roma looked good, just couldn't finish their chances.

Of course the Romanisti are all panicking but I'm not too worried yet. One game does not a scudetto make, after all. Inter already stumbled once against La Samp I think, and there is still a lot of season left

Forza Roma!

P.S. Praxis that was funny how we kept trying to do the Seven Nation Army and everyone just looked at us like we were insane... but let's try it again at the last RSL home game, I've been told that we might get more support this time.

I am up for a little 7 nation army. Maybe we could print up the lyrics so everyone can memorize them. Joke...
