Going out with a bang (part 2)

Since Going out with a bang part 1 established itself as the definition of a hijacked thread, I started going out with a bang part 2. In case some of you wanted to read about how we're going out with a bang, instead of how Glenn and Prince are freakishly interrelated.

So, how are we going out with a bang?

Last Tailgate Party Extravaganza: Food and fun. Starting early...at 4:00pm. $2 bucks for food. Feel free to bring a side dish you'd like people to partake of. When you pay for food, you get a raffle ticket. Prizes will be given to the lucky winners.

Last Tailgate Party Tournament: Two on two soccer tournament. Winners get a very coveted trophy.

Streamer Salute: When the whistle blows, the Loyalists section will launch a streamer salute for the team, thanking them for their performance this year.

Debut of the Giant Flag: Yes, that's right. You heard it here first! The Loyalists now have a giant sized Real Flag that we will be pulling up over the section at the start of games as well as after every goal. Be sure to be present in the section, to be part of this event.

Remember last year when we had three signs:

JAY SON KREIS

or something like that? And when he got #100 three people stood in front of the stands and got everyone to yell it? That was soo cool, it gave me the chills. Maybe we could make another three signs, as obvious as

I was the one holding up "JAY". It started sounding cool, but then something exciting happened on the field again, and the crowds attention got diverted so we all came back. But that was pretty neat.

I'm really stoked about the giant flag! I'm sure my kids will get a kick out of it too!

will it just be on the small patch of grass by where the tailgate usually is?
