Brenes with his National team

Now that Pablo is training with his national team, will he be coming back and enjoying his stint with RSL? I know it has been said that he didn't want to be with the team because it hurt his chances of playing for the National team. Now that he is on it maybe he will return happier...

We have 5 players with national team call-ups.
Pablo Brenes
Marlon Rojas
Andy Williams
Eddie Pope
Clint Mathis
All 5 of them are gone training with their squads. I like the quality that Ellinger has brought in. I would like to see a Senior International holding mid brought in though. Bring in someone with just a few years left from Europe to solidify the middle and also tutor Besagno. Kamler fits that description except for the whole learning the new position issue...

I thought it was cool to hear Djorkaeff for a few minutes during the ManU/Milan match. It was interesting how he mentioned that Silvestre congratulated him on his move to MLS. As more and more big names jump the pond, I think MLS will start to get some respect.

I heard that too, and I was impressed by what Djorkaeff said. He seemed excited about getting to play in MLS, he said his goal was "To win the league."

Yeah it was cool. Also, RSL has 2 more SI picks, lets hope they use them on a good mid sometime soon.

Is Zidane ready to come on over? I'll even take Kaka at this point. :D

I wasn't impressed with KaKa vs. ManU. IMHO, he has underachieved.

True if Kaka would have connected more the score would have been 3-0.
Sorry ManU lovers.
I'll still take Kaka here at RSL. Wouldn't you?

But with a name like "KaKa" could you expect any more?

So we should see Brenes, Pope and Mathis (at least) on June 4th. The Costa Rica game will be the best for RSL fans.

Also, Costa Rica will have other MLSers on hand: Andy Herron(Fire), Michael Umaña(Galaxy), Erick Scott(formerly of RSL/Crew),
