Attendance

Just a thought, but I just looked at the attendance for the 4 playoff games this weekend and I’ve got to tell you that they are pretty pathetic. How is it that MLS continues to say that the league is doing well, when these numbers are telling a different story. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a domestic league, but holy crap the league/teams need to do a better job marketing this thing. Just pathetic, plain pathetic

I watched large parts of the Rapids-FCD and Fire-Revs matches. I expected the crowd in Denver to look sparse as they are still in a pointy-ball stadium far too large, but the crowd in Chicago didn't even look very big. I would hope when RSL makes the post season that our fans will make a better showing.

Whats odd is just 2 weeks ago most MLS teams were having season-high attendance.
Oh well.

Seems like attendance for the playoffs always goes down. And the 2-3 weeks ago teams were in their last home game of the season. So you have season ticket holder trading in unused tickets, flex-ticket dates being used up while they can and stuff liek that helping drive some of those numbers.

The Rapids crowd was sparse for a high school stadium. IIRC official count was @ 4,100 for the night. I've been at family reunions with more people than that.

4,000? You are kidding me! That is dispicable! They deserve to be eliminated just on that fact alone.........putting aside the fact I hate Pablo and they are a piece of crap cheating team. GO Dallas!
