next seasons seats

i know there was some talk at the end of last season of the loyalists moving to the north end. Any update on this or where we should be ordering seats for next season?

I haven't heard anything. A move to the north end might be nice, the tickets are cheaper there. And come to think about it it might be easier to get the northend crowd involved if we were in their midst.

But I imagine things will stay in E-32.

So has the FO convinced any supporter group to be based behind the bench?

can't be done...E38 is as close as we can get...35-37 are all season ticket holders.

Preliminary discussions about moving to the north are taking place. No decision has been made.

Feel free to share ideas and opinions here or via email.

North seems like it would be a good spot for supporters... but wouldn't there be a lot of season ticket holders who would get displaced?

it seemed the most willing supporters last year to join into our chants were those in the north end ... palcing ourselves right in the middle of the northend should help them get involved more and help us grow more.

Not to mention that where the seats there are cheaper the ticket nazis would have no reason to stop people joining us unless they are displacing other ticket holders...

As shown in the lions roar at half time (which the north seemed to win the most) the end of the stadium is also a good place for chanting ... admittedly not much difference will be seen if our group stays current size, but with growth it will force all those chanting a little closer together and funnel the noise in one direction more adding to the one oice feel.

guess i should stop bsing to sound clever now :P

Something to think about...
This past year I had to sit up higher than the Loyalist section since I had Aero Jr and unfortunately, you cannot hear the chants and stuff as well when you are behind the section, half the time I didn't know what chant was going on... I knew you were chanting but couldn't make out which one...

One time I sat across from the Loyalist section and could hear the chanting perfectly!!!

I'm not sure.

The North end seems to be more full with the AYSO crowd meaning maybe not that many season ticket holders but alot of kids soccer teams sitting there because those are the cheapest seats.

One benefit from moving to the North end would be since the seats are cheaper maybe now the FO would be more willing to give us a buffer zone of a couple of rows behind our section since they wouldn't be loosing that much money from those ticket sales.

In E-32 alot of times we are obstructing the view of people behind us or people in the section right to the north of us. If we were in the North end we wouldn't obstruct anyone's view on either side of us and if they gave us a two row buffer zone behind us we wouldn't obstruct the view of anyone above us either.

(Plus two empty rows behind us would give us space to put stuff during the game if we had to, like the mega flag I might be construting this year.)

Finally, a move to the North end would be nice just to see what it's like. With the new stadium in 2008 the North end may be where the FO wants all supporters groups anyway. We might as well try it and get use to it.
