MLS worse and greatest teams

From Soccer America:

4. FEEDBACK: MLS's Worst Team?

As Major League Soccer moves into its 10th season, Soccer America
Magazine will examine the best of MLS in the March 21 issue. Our Fan Poll (below) asks fans to pick the best team in MLS history.
Separately, we ask you to send us your thoughts on the worst team in
MLS history. Who was the worst team and why? Which team choked the worst? Send us your comments to:

5. FAN POLL: MLS's Greatest Team?

Soccer America Magazine's current polls asks you to pick the greatest team in MLS history. Which of the D.C. teams stands out? Was it one of the four MLS championship teams or the team that won everything but the MLS title? The Chicago expansion team that won the double in 1998? Or one of the San Jose title-winning teams? You have until March 1, 2005, to make your pick.

Best--1998 Chicago Fire

Nowak and the Boys knock off the two time defending champion DC United--Bruce Arena's first and only MLS Cup Final loss.

Worst--2001 Tampa Bay Mutiny

Much competition here from the Rapids, Clash, Revs, and Metros.

Then there was DC United's memorable run from 2000-2003, when they won a TOTAL of 35 league games in four seasons. Those were the days.

But a total of four wins and thug tactics set the last Mutiny team apart for both ineptitude and repulsiveness.
