I can't keep up with the ups and downs of the stadium. i check every now and again but that's it. it's like being stuck in a parking lot with heavy traffic. i look up to see if anything is moving and then go back to fiddling with the radio. i don't see anything that we as supporters can do at this point. It would be nice to see RSL out in the community more to get some positive buzz going.

I honestly don't think the Sandy stadium is going to get done. I really don't.

I just think all of the buzz that the stadium once had is gone, now even the politicians that once supported it have turned on us (it seems anyway.)

Maybe RSL needs to completely step back, see if we could play another year at RES, and come up with a completely new plan.

Sandy just isn't working out.

Now that the TRAX line to the airport is going to be a reality due to the voter approved tax increase, maybe the Fairgrounds is worth looking at again.

What about Murray? Is that land still available?

Checketts won't build at the fairgrounds because the land around a stadium there can not be developed according to plan.

Not being the James Bond sort of fellow, I believe that I have worked harder to get dates than the FO has worked to get this stadium. And there was a lot less money involved.

I believe that Murray is pretty much off of the table as they are starting other projects in that area. Our family shops at the Costco there fairly often and there is a lot of activity there the last few years.

What about the Geneva developers? Anyone know if they are still interested?

I don't currently know what their sentiment is, but when they first presented the plan they said they would buy the team instead of having it move out of state. I think with that being said, they would still offer the land. It really is a good way to get development interest in that area. I'm not sure how many houses they would sell on that property....

I think we should have a contest to see who comes up with the best promo to get our stadium.

My entry: Free crazy bread with every stadium built! (one order per stadium)

Sounds like this may go through with Corroon's latest statements. We should know officially by Wednesday next week.
