Gearing up for 07 season

Well we got the stadium and I think if we can win every game 5-4 this year then we've got a chance.

I'm planning on making at least one new flag, and I want to help rekindle the passion of the supporters.

So post flag ideas, chant ideas, new songs, etc. in this thread. Merrill sent me some good song/chant stuff, I'll try to get it uploaded somewhere.

I was really happy that me and Praxis' "7 Nation Army" chant got going at the end of last year, along with Merrill's giant flag.

Any more ideas?

i'm planning on buying a drum to add to the noise. just no idea where or how much its gonna set me back

Nice, Jake.

I've gathered quite a collection of flags. I think I've got around 12 or 15. Anyone who wants a flag to wave, just say so, and you'll have it.

Does anyone know a good place to host files online? I have a song or two that I think we should do as chants this year. Where could I host them so everyone could listen?

Here's another question. How can we work the old school flags on poles in with our new school giant size drape over everyone's head flag?

I was watching the fans at the porto/chelsea game the other night, and I looked at their flag wavers. Those guys would watch the action, and the second a ball went out of bounds or there was any other lull in the action, the flags went up and waved. Then, as soon as the action started again, they dropped. I would really like to see us do this. What say you?

as far as the super flag goes ... thats all down to the coordination of the front row in my opinion ... once that starts peeling back over the rows there isn't much stopping it. But i'm thinking it should only be used in special occasions such as goals ...

as far as the files i should be setting up my free webspace with comcast in a day or two ... i just need toget off my lazy ass and call tech support ... once thats done i can put them up there as a temp solution if u want?

Better to treat the disease than the symptoms. But it's always fun to read about the newest flags and chants.

Good luck to all the supporters groups next year in getting good crowds out for the games.
