Pull it out

So what is it going to take besides a miracle to pull out a win?

More shots on goal
More offensive runs, so crosses are dangerous and have a point
Hire back Kevin Novack to be on the right
Andy back in the center being creative and making it happen

And most importantly, a miracle.

ReAL Salt Lake fans have ReAL expectations: hope not to lose, pray for a tie.

So what's up with Pescadito anyway?

Is he at Hooters or is he going to be running through the RSL defense like a hot knife through butter?

The defensive struggles of an outside man being beaten makes the pre-season move with Novack all the more mysterious. Let's hope Kipre is all he's advertised to be.

And, a tie isn't good enough. We need a win in order to really feel the playoffs are possible.

Yeah, but rooting for RSL you have to have ReAL expectations. A tie is the most we can hope for in pretty much any game.

That's negative talk. I refuse to hear it! We will beat Dallas by 2!

And yes, we will have to shoot more shots and make more runs to do it. But we've been working on just those things (I have faith in Kreis). We will win by 2! :sport:

Not terrible is how I would best describe this game. Rimando looked good even though he got scored on twice. I blame Stewart though. He was my official Not Man of the Match. I liked the energy and control that Williams brought to the game. He has been sorely missed. The second half looked much better and offensively much more happened. Still areas to be worked on, like scoring from set pieces (see my earlier poll: Brooke Shields is looking pretty good now). The second half was actually exciting to watch and not for the usual "please don't mess up" reason. We actually had shots on goal and were putting runs together. Still not a fan of "The Hack" Harris. He's tall, I get it. What else does he have though and can't we find someone else who is tall?
Not good, but looking better. Hopefully by the next home game we will have all the pieces where they need to be and we can get our first win.
