MLS Power Rankings

I was reading the MLS Power Rankings on Fox Sports (as I do every Wednesday) and thought that the ReAL listing seemed particularly "inspirational" this week. I was laughing, but it was a sort of sad, yeah-he's-right laughter. I don't expect a win, but a goal would be nice.

I have just about given up on Salt Lake beating anybody this season. They have got to feel unlucky with the home loss against Dallas but they say you make your own luck in football. Trading last season's top scorer was a bold move but as of now it has not paid off. I do hope that Jason Kreis is not just judged on this season because this ship was already sinking way before he took the wheel.

Fantasy Pick: I like to consider myself an optimistic person but even I would not pick a Salt Lake player this week against a red-hot D.C.

No matter how you cut it, RSL sucks. Expect a loss, hope for a tie, and dream of a win. Those are the ReAL expectations I have. Have that printed up on your paperbag this Saturday.
