Game on...

The Men's and Women's Nat's play today. Does anybody know if the Men's game will be televised? I pulled this off of USsoccer.com I was unaware that Eddie was sporting an injury...

QUICK HITS:

With Ben Olsen and Kerry Zavagnin on club duty and Frankie Hejduk (ankle) and Eddie Pope (pelvis) out through injury, the 18-man roster for the Colombia friendly is set.
Four players on the U.S. roster appeared in the team's 2-1 qualifying victory against Trinidad on Feb. 9: Chris Albright, Clint Dempsey, Eddie Johnson, and Pablo Mastroeni.
Johnson continued to re-write the history books that day. With his eight-yard header into the lower right side, Johnson became the first player in MNT history to score in his first four matches and tied William Looby (1955) and Brian McBride (2001) as the only players to score goals in four consecutive games.
Johnson now has six goals in four games (all World Cup qualifiers) with the MNT and is already tied for third in all-time World Cup qualifying scoring for the U.S., just one behind McBride and three behind Eddie Stewart.
Clint Mathis is the leading capwinner on Wednesday's roster, having compiled 44 appearances and 11 goals in an international career that began in 1998.
On the other end of the spectrum, four players on the U.S. roster will have the chance to earn their first cap: Nat Borchers, Jon Busch, Ritchie Kotschau, and Chad Marshall.
Marshall adds a local flavor to the matchup as a native of Riverside, Calif, just up the road from Fullerton. The 2003 MLS Rookie of the Year finalist was a member of the U-20 and U-23 national teams, starting all five games as the U.S. placed fifth at the World Youth Championship UAE 2003.
With only five appearances under his belt, Brian Ching has already made a big impact for the senior team. He scored the 89th minute equalizer to give the U.S. a 1-1 draw in Jamaica on MatchDay 1 of the semifinal round of World Cup qualifying, then scored the game-winner against El Salvador the following game on Sept. 4, 2004, in Washington, D.C.
The U.S. is currently riding a record setting 14-match unbeaten run, the last loss coming over a year ago when they fell 1-0 to Holland on Feb. 18, 2004 in Amsterdam. The team has posted a 9-0-5 record during the streak.
The U.S. is 2-8-2 all-time vs. Colombia in a series that dates back to a 2-0 loss for the U.S. in Bogata, Colombia, in 1961.
The biggest game of the series was a 2-1 win for the U.S. in the Rose Bowl during the 1994 FIFA World Cup. An Earnie Stewart goal gave the U.S. its first win in a World Cup match since the famed 1950 U.S. team defeated England 1-0.
Since 1994, the U.S. has faced Colombia four times with a 0-2-2 record, including falling in penalty kicks in the quarterfinals of the 2000 Gold Cup.
The March 9 match will be first appearance for the U.S. Men's National Team in Fullerton, Calif., since late 1994. All seven of the U.S. appearances in Fullerton were during a two-year span from 1993-1994, with the U.S. compiling a 3-0-4 record with six of those matches serving as preparation for the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

I'm assuming there's no TV coverage, because if you're registered with USsoccerfans.com, they usually send out a reminder a couple of days before the match with the TV info on it, and I haven't gotten anything...
