How long do we think it will be going on?

60-90 minutes is what I read somewhere.

I wonder if we could have several tables put together for all of the Loyalists to sit at, talk about each new development, etc. From the picture I saw on the team's website, it looks like SkyBox is mostly tables that seat four? Could we get several pushed together to make a bigger table? Would other Loyalists be interested? Then we could really make some noise!

There are some bigger tables in the corners and against the walls which seat probably 6-10 people. We might be able to snag one of those.

Any ideas on what my Claret (OK, so it's red) poster board should say?

Will Jason "Crease" be there? One side should say "Welcome Jason"

How about the other side?

"ESPNNews is welcome here"?

How about some songs for Friday?

If he's in the room, we should break out with "We love you Jason, Oh yes we do; we love you Jason, Oh yes we do; Jason Kreis we love you", to the tune of "We love you Ringo".

Ellinger should give us a heads up on who he is looking for so we can make up some songs for them.

If I can get a good count of Loyalists that will be there for sure... I will ask for the tables in front for that number of people. We want to be on TV!!!

P.S. Any mentions of Loyalists on posters will be great.

I am driving up w/ Jim Umber, Czar Jake and Scilaci. My sister will probalby join us at some point too. So that's five from us. I emailed in a reservation for eight, but if you can just consolidate the Loyalists into one area, I would be ecstatic. I want to hear all the commentary as the draft goes on. That's how I learn.

I'm ready to sing the "We Love You, Jason" song. Yes, I asked him specifically and he said he's planning to be there Friday. Yea! A few of us lucky ones will be able to yell, "Hey Jason! Remember us?" I am positive that he will be excited to come spend a few minutes with the Loyalists. He was very positive about us when we saw him yesterday.

In defense of all the people who have been pronouncing his name "Crease," let the blame fall on the front office!! During the entire news conference yesterday, they had his name up on the TVs as : "Jason Kries." The only logical way to pronounce that is "Crease." I sat there wondering, "Is it in my mind or did they pronounce it the other way?" So if even I, brilliant I, can make the mistake... 😉 (J/K about the brilliant.)

I'm so excited about tomorrow that I'm actually cleaning my house today so I can go up tomorrow with no guilt! 🙂

Hey soccerman, do you want a ride up with us? Jim Umber has a van so we're all packing in and bringing the party with us. 😉 We'll be meeting at my house in Orem, so PM me or let us know if you want a ride with us.

Also, this is somewhat short notice, but I have an idea for tomorrow. We should give Jason a very warm welcome to Salt Lake and put together a little gift basket for him with lots of Utah-ish stuff. I'm volunteering to put this together, if anybody else wants to contribute some cash for it. Let me know today so I have time to put it together. We could make this a little tradition or just honor our first player. Or we could put together a basket for the coach, GM, etc. too at some point.

I'm thinking:

1. A package of Jell-O
2. Some traditional Utah recipes
3. Some information about Utah in general: the local attractions, golf courses (he's a big golfer), recreation, etc.
4. Some other Utah food (ideas?)
5. A BYU shirt (Just kidding!)
6. Other ideas?

If you're interested, post a message here.

Don't forget the salt. And what else is there to do around Salt Lake than ice cream and a movie rental?!?

I can throw in some tickets to a Temple Square Christmas Concert or the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.

Does anyone have a leftover beret from the Olympics? 😉

If I come tomorrow (still trying to decide), I'll bring something.
