Preseason Stats With only one match left in preseason we are starting to get a sense of who is going to produce the offensive goods for RSL.
Goals: Kreis: 7 Watson: 3 Kreamalmeyer:3 Mathis: 2 Selolwane: 1 O'Brien: 1 Behncke: 1 Novak: 1 Assists: Selolwane: 3 Kreamalmeyer:3 Whitfield: 2 Rojas: 1 Kreis: 1 Mathis: 1 Flores: 1 Watson: 1 Novak: 1 Knowles: 1 We now know that Kreis can produce the goods and we expect goals from Mathis (he's been gone most preseason!). The pleasant surprises are Kreamalmeyer (3 goals AND 3 assists!) and Watson. Dipsy has 3 assists and a goal so we'll look to him (and Kreamy) as an assist man. So far, our go-to guys are Kreis, Mathis, Watson and Kreamy. The major questions marks are the following: Where has Andy Williams been? Not even one assist? What will Jordan Cila contribute? What kind of season will Evan Whitfield have? Let's hope Flores starts to pour it on. Last edited by AreliusII : 03-21-2005 at 11:49 AM.

Very good question... maybe Deuce could shed some light on his performance in Vegas. Oh wait... 😉 Less than 2 weeks until the first match... woo hoo!

Williams is hot and cold--you never know what you'll get from him. One game he'll be roaming aimlessly around the midfield like a U7 half-gamer, and the next he'll score a couple of goals on rocket-shot free kicks. We'll see what Ellinger can do with him. Whitfield is prone to carelessness in tackling at times, but is usually defends/marks well and is good for 3-4 attacking runs a game. I wouldn't expect many goals from him, though. Maybe some assists. Cila has a lot to prove, and I have no idea how he'll respond to his move to RSL. As for Flores, it's even harder to tell since he's new to this level, but it would be great for the club if he succeeds due to his Utah connections.
