Oh, yeah, I was kind of checking out the places along 400 South on the way to work this morning.
Anyone up for Organic Berry Bogaloos at Wild Oats after games? Didn't think so... Anyway, I think people need to decide what kind of place they want to go to -- a restaurant, a pub-type place, a sports establishment, etc. I can think of a ton of good places to eat, but I don't know what other people want to do.

Yes, you are right. I guess that needs to be determined before we can decide on anything.
I don't really think that a restaurant would be the best unless they don't mind people hanging out taking up tables without ordering a lot of food. It's also hard to mingle among tables at restaurants unless you can reserve an entire section for just us. But other than that, I personally am up for just about anything. While not a big fan of smoke, I can tolerate it so even a private club is okay with me. What does everyone else vote?

for good weather days there are always parks nearby we could go to.

That's another great option. I hadn't considered that. I guess my mind is still in windy/raining/slushy/snowy mode. We could even have a pickup game if we did that.
Another option that this made me think of is simply going back out to the parking lot and tailgating some more. Maybe we don't have to go anywhere at all. I also got wondering if the FO is going to have some official after game get-togethers somewhere. Anyone with FO contacts want to ask them about it?

Realistically, I won't be able to do any post-game partying usually no matter where it's held. 🙁

Most home games will be Saturday evening and won't be over until dark. Most parks are a little "different" after dark.

Okay, so I forgot to account for both the weather and the darkness factor. I guess it must be Friday. It sounds as if parks are out unless it is an early afternoon game. Even then, a park doesn't sound all that much better than the parking lot. At least in the parking lot, we'll be able to wait for everyone else to leave and they can hear us singing (unless we are too hoarse) and banging our drums as they leave.

Actually, I think that is probably the best answer, but I have to leave right after games anyway. Got to get home and get some sleep. I work Sundays.

I think the parking lot probably is the best place. So, I think we should just plan on that unless someone comes up with a different, spectacular idea.

My vote would be The Pie. It's within walking distance. The have a care-free atmosphere. No waiters = no tips = no fuss over tables and ordering. And they have a sweet jukebox! Not to mention the food is great and fairly priced. Oh, yeah, and they make their own ROOT BEER! And to top it all off, their ambience is already RED!
