Watson to Dallas?

The Dallas fans certainly think so.

Basically, with Ruiz, Dallas fans think they have no room for a talent like forward Cornell Glenn (Marlon Rojas's Trinidad teamate). So they think Dallas should trade Glenn to RSL for Watson.

On a side note, Dallas guys certainly think Jamie is a talent, to which we all can agree.

Why did they decide on Watson of all people? Just curious. Would that mean that we lose out on Jamies Journal? Nooooooooooo! Say it ain't so! :p

Why would we trade one of young up-and-coming forwards that could be a future start for another forward? Aren't we are already pretty stacked there? Wouldn't we be better off getting a midfielder?

Not that I want to trade Watson. I really like him. He is very outgoing and friendly. Not to mention that I think he is going to be a really good player in a year or two.

And I agree about Jamie's Journal, as well.

to all Dallas people who may be reading:

Jamie sucks. Don't waste your time here. He's a cancer on and off the field. Terrible personality. No skills.

I doubt that RSL would trade Watson. First, he's Generation Adidas so he doesn't count against the cap. A trade for Glen would be a very pricey move. Second, Glen doesn't help us during WCQ (which would be the only time he would start) because he'd be gone as well. Third, Watson is on the Dev squad. Glen would have to be on the senior roster which is already full. Fourth, Watson is an Ellinger prospect from U-17s. Glen has no such connection.

Not happening.

Remember how the BS board (as an aside... isn't that acronym sometimes the most accurate one anybody could come up with?) thought back in March that Watson was going to be traded? Where do they come up with this stuff? 😕 It's like someone saying that Shaq would join the Jazz because... well, any reason you come up with is as good as mine.

Guys my objective in starting this thread wasn't for you guys to tell us how it wasn't happening. I just wanted you to know what Buzz over at the 3rdDegree was saying, since he is very close to the team. As for Jason's comments, exactly. In fact if you read the links I posted you'll see that Dallas is close to or over the cap so they need to trade a semi-expensive player (ie Glenn) for someone like Jamie (Gen adidas).
