Question on Cards I haven't really paid much attention to immediate and accrued disqualifications in MLS in the past, so I'm not sure what the league rules are.
If a player is red-carded, they automatically miss the following game, correct? And if a player accrues X number of yellow cards (perhaps within a certain number of games), they also automatically miss the next game? Or am I just making this all up?

exactly, but I can't remember what the number X is. Does anyone remember how many cards you have to accrue to miss a match?

RED CARDS Any player receiving a red card in an MLS regular season game will be suspended for the next league season game and shall pay a fine of $250. Any player receiving a red card in a preseason or exhibition game may be suspended for the next exhibition game and not the next regular season game. Any player who receives a second red card during the season will be suspended for one game and shall pay a fine of $500. Any player who receives a third red card during the season will be suspended for one game, pay a fine of $1000, and may receive additional sanctions by the Commissioner. Players, who receive a second yellow card in a game, and thus a red card, will have the appropriate penalty points of the first yellow card only applied to their point totals. YELLOW CARDS A penalty point system will be used to weigh the tactical significance of various yellow cards. Players accumulating 21 penalty points shall be suspended one game and fined. Players are suspended an additional game and fined $1,000 after the accumulation of an additional 11 points and each 11 points thereafter. Should a player accumulate 11 points in three consecutive games in which he appears, he shall be suspended from his next regular season game, but not fined. For the second consecutive season, a Good Behavior Incentive will allow players to reduce their caution point total in situations whereby they are between ONE (1) and FOUR (4) caution points away from being issued a suspension. Playing three consecutive games without earning a caution, red card or sanctioning by the MLS Disciplinary Committee while in this state of "warning" shall reduce that player's caution point total by FOUR (4) points. Each Player will be afforded one opportunity per season to have FOUR (4) caution points removed from his personal record. CARD CARRY OVERS Any suspension resulting from caution points earned in a players final regular season game will NOT carry over into the playoffs or the next League season, although any applicable fines will be collected. However, point accumulations from yellow cards will begin anew in the playoffs. Any player who receives a red card in his last game of the season (regular or postseason), will serve the one game suspension during their next game, regardless of if it occurs in the playoffs, MLS Cup or the first game of the following regular season. Postseason caution point suspensions earned in a player's final postseason match will not carry over to a player's next League game. All red card and caution point suspensions will, if necessary (in the event of a trade or other personnel moves), follow a player to a new team.

What the....are you sure you didn't make that all up? Point Accumulation? Good behavior discounts? Are we going to need a CPA to help us calculate who's suspended?
Thanks, though. Who woulda thunk to look on mlsnet.com...
