I do agree that he was lucky not to get tossed for this, but a fine?

Got to love Cletus... but I am sure he can afford the fine.

I think the reason he didn't get tossed is that the it wasn't that hard and didn't give RSL any advantage. Sure the tackle was blatant and illegal, but Clint didn't follow through. He tried to stop his foot once he ralized he was doing something stupid.

Also, factor in the fact that the game wasn't close. In a close game you have to give out the red.

Plus, you have to factor in the home opener in SLC. You don't think the league want's Clint on the bench for the home opener. Who ever said stars don't get special treament in soccer.

All that being said, if I am calling the game... Clint gets sent packing.

I thought it was a 3-1 scoreline!
The article says a 3-0 loss... Any body over there ever heard the name Jason Kreis!

anyway I think it deserved a card but I have seen worse go unpunished!
