Wish I could go. I've got an important family function that day.

Soccer IS an important "family" function.

In fact, bring 'em. We're all family.

7,011 by my latest count.

I predict it will be around 12 or 13k. Hopefully I'm being a pessimist.

That position is already filled. I'm not naming names . . . 😉

Maybe I should buy a pair of tickets and give them to someone who isn't planning on going. That way, even though I can't make it, I can still contribute by putting some butts in the seats. 😉

Considering that the weatherdude was going off about how there might be snow on Friday and how it's like never ever going to be nice again all morning, you may not be so pessimistic. 🙁

Why would that keep people from going to the game.
1. (sounds bad but..) what else are you going to do Saturday night? Why not enjoy the company of thousands watching great football.
2. It's April. Snow in the morning means great weather 5 minutes later.

It's amazing how fans in the state of Utah are. How can those who didn't feel the excitement, the buzz from the last game not want to come to a game that's more time friendly?

i'm confused :S

I don't think it will keep the core fans away, but standing outside in potentially crappy weather might not be so much fun to the casual fan.

I mean, I turned down several invitations to U of U football games this year because I didn't care about it enough to bother with standing around in the cold when I could be sleeping instead, heh. 🙂
