Xbox Game I know there are two good soccer games out there the one certified by FIFA and the Winning Eleven. Which one is better?

I haven't played either but here's a review that says Konami's Winning Eleven is better:

Winning Eleven I've have the PC version of FIFA and the PS2 version of Winning Eleven, both from a few years ago. FIFA seems to have better graphics, but the gameplay of Winning Eleven is better. Of the versions that I have, I prefer Winning Eleven.

I went out and got EA Sports FIFA '05 for the PC (I couldn't find winning eleven). I'm quite impressed that they have representation for almost every league in the world; MLS, Mexican League, K-League, Bundesliga, Premier League, Brazilian League, etc. There may have been some problems in earlier versions but I have a hard time beating the computer on this one. Even if I turn it to the "amateur" setting it's hard for me to beat it (maybe I just suck). Anyhow, I like how it has the career mode that allows you to start out with a crappy team (MetroStars in my case) and build your way up to managing a good team. The one thing that it's missing is Real Salt Lake (and Chivas USA but I can't really say I miss them). Does anyone know of any mods that would allow me to play as RSL? If not, I'll just wait for FIFA '06 and I'm sure that the expansion teams are on there. I should also note that there are over 3,000 players represented in FIFA '05. The detail is very impressive. I'll get a copy of Winning Eleven and see how it compares.

Okay, I love FIFA 05. If you are a supper hard-core gamer Winning 11 is a little bit better in terms of graphics and game play. FIFA has a far better range of teams, is more easily available, and tons and tons of people I know have it. If I go to a friends house it is pretty much guaranteed they will have FIFA and we can have a quick decent match. I think it is a little easier to learn to. My 6 year old can beat me at FIFA from time to time, but never at winning 11. (If I have to have another West Ham vs. D.C. United match.....)
The career mode in FIFA is excellent as well. Also, the FIFA street is terrible, do not even consider getting it. | |||||
