If I can find someone to text message scores to me from the NCAA gym event finals that night, I'll *really* consider coming this time.

The sporting gods are quite unkind to me when it comes to away games.

I'm afraid that my anniversary is going to have to trump anything in Salt Lake this week. I love y'all but I love my husband a lot more! :D

So, Clarette, wait until sometime I'll be there and you can prove you really exist! I wont' take anybody else's word for it! 😉 J/k

Hey everyone!!! Since we have a confirmation from multiple sources about the Direct Kick broadcast I have reserved a big screen room at Iggy's-Downtown.

I have booked it for 20-40 ppl provided our UC side of the family show up, we should get a really good turn out.

Obviously the UC contingent is encouraged to come up and cheer for RSL in Salt Lake but Jim mentioned some valid points. So if you lot down south set something else up please post here so you can get a good turn out down there as well... and i can let Iggy's know our revised head count in advance.

I will expect you all to be showing up at Iggy's-Downtown if you don't organize something in the UC!

Everyone, that will be there, show up between 5 and 5:30 for a 5:30 pregame and 6pm kick-off!

Viva Real!!!

Loose because I think I may have slaughtered it. but I thought it fit somehow!

A bit off topic, but for what it's worth, Channel 7 started showing the Hitchhhiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV series (from the early 80s BBC) last Saturday. (Came on around 1030 or so) Likely will air each Saturday night for the upcoming weeks. (I believe there were a total of seven episodes) Hilarious stuff (I for one can't wait for the movie coming out next week.)

Red Dwarf is smeggin' Ace!

I have the BBC series on DVD... it is six episodes. I can watch it on PC/DVD only cos I bought it in the UK and I am being punished as a consumer for moving from one country to another... by corporate greed.

Meaning I have a region 2 DVD in a Region 1 world!

Region Restricted DVD's are evil!

But I digress!

You lot coming to the Watch Party? we can talk Hitchhikers and Red Dwarf!

It's 50/50 whether I can attend the party at Iggy's, or wait until late to watch the delay on Fox RM. I thought about posting a line or two from HHGG, but with the new movie coming out next week, I decided not to potentially "spoil" anything for people who haven't been introduced to the story yet.
