If you're the dude that sat next to me and Punk Rock Girlfriend at Iggy's, Im sitting next to you at every game. That little girl of yours is the cutest thing Ive ever seen, with her little Real Shirt on and all.

I'd say we won that battle.

Yeah, I saw that. I think that editorial was funny! I think that the Trib was intentionally Trolling us.

Heck, MLS has had big Walk Up Crowds since the first Galaxy game and RSL management tried to warn everyone about it.

Between dodgy weather, 5th place and an Earthquakes team with no Landon; a big walkup won't be a problem this weekend.

Soccerprime, did you break a blood vessel laughing at the way that people that live in the 3rd driest state in the union won't go out in the rain?

While the Tribune has been great for the most part giving the team lots of space (except the last few days) their editorial page has been less than kind. A few days ago they blasted RSL for not allowing outside food or drink. As far as I know, Franklin-Quest field, the Delta Center, E Center, and other venues don't allow outside food/drink either. Interestingly, Rice-Eccles had always pretty much let you take in any food (but not cans or bottles) you wanted (for years I have taken in pizzas, hoagies, soup in a thermos, etc. to almost every pointy ball game) until last season when the stadium started disallowing outside food, but the paper didn't blast the school or stadium at that time.

The double standard lives.

I think we should start promoting it ourselves - if we aren't allready. I've been telling all those "fringe" fans (of which group I was once a part) about how cool it is to see soccer at that level and that they should go and bring their kids.

Spread the word!
