RSL home match promotions

Another reason to go watch SJ this weekend: Free Magnet Schedules!!!!!

On my little pocket schedule thingie in the promotional section, there are 5 "Chevron Family Night"s listed, with the promotions being:

-Replica RSL Jersey
-Replica RSL Shorts
-RSL Socks/Shin Guards
-RSL Soccer Ball
-RSL Uniform/Ball Bag

What is THAT all about? Those are some pretty nifty promotions, and I can't imagine that they'd be handing them out like magnet schedules or posters or trading cards. Anyone have any idea?

I'm not sure but if it's one of the those promotions that go to the "first 500 people" or something similar, there's another reason to attend the tailgate!

or to get there in time for the tailgate, but go wait at the gate instead.

Do you think that they are actually giving away that replica jersey that goes for $65 in the stores? Even 500 of those is out of control. Then again it is Chevron, they ought to be able to afford it, judging from the price of gas these days.

I don't think it will be the actual replica jersey (but it might be). I'd think it'd be more like a tee-shirt that looks like the jersey and might have a player's name and number on the back.

If they do what Colorado cRapids are doing it will be a Replica Jersey for first 6000 Kids...

I noticed that stuff too, and was like "I gotta gimme some of that!"

I forgot to get the inaugural home game ticket as well. Did they give those out to everyone at some point and I just got there too late?

I got mine on the way out. Most people had already left, but at the bottom of the stairs at the main entrance, there were several boxes of the things. I thought, cool, and grabbed one. Hindsight! Someone has plenty of leftovers.
