Big Jersey

I'm curious, have we decided that the big jersey is a no go.

I wasn't one of the folks on the field flapping the big jersey on the 16th, so I have no idea how heavy it is. Does it seem heavy enough that we wouldn't want to pull it over our heads in celebration of a goal? Is it out or are we going to give it a shot?

If it's out, I was thinking we might try and put together our own giant flag or maybe see if we can convince the FO to buy us one. My wife could probably be talked into sowing, and I think we could make a basic striped flag or something like that for less than $200. Would there be any money lying around for that? Probably not I'd bet.

Any interest in that, or do we stick with flags on poles?

The Jersey is ours to use... it weighs about 250 pounds.

With that being said, we are already having a giant flag made to pull over our section. The one we are having made will be significantly lighter since it will be made of nylon instead of vinyl.

Yeah, the giant jersey is way too heavy and cumbersome for over our head after a goal. I think it's cool that we get to use it but I don't know what else to do with it. If we cut it into strips left to right then we might be able to hold it up, like each row would have their piece. But then who wants to cut it up? Just a random thought.
