MLS Week 6 Attendance With Sunday's Galaxy-CRapids game still to go, here are the attendance numbers:
Metro-Quakes: 8,274 DCU-Crew: 14,894 Revs-Fire: 8,003 KC-FCD: 10,007 sc-RSL: 10,893 Weather was a factor in Foxboro, but overall this is anemic. The season has started slowly with attendance, to say the least. The Galaxy should have their usual 20,000+ on on Sunday, but will will take more than that to keep the MLS average over 15,000.

Weather has been a factor in tons of games this year. The US is just getting pounded this spring. If the weather hadn't been threatening, I bet we would have had 3,000 more for our last game.
And just think...this year may be bad, but the World Cup is next year, and there is always a spike in attendance when the World Cup comes around. It causes people who are fans of the sport but have let it slide to wake up and remember. That's what happened to me last World Cup. I suddenly thought, "Isn't there a league in the US these days. I'll have to check it out." And now here I am, a Loyalist. A Loyalist, can you believe it. It's like a dream come true. I never thought I would make it but I did.
