What I can handle and what I can't ... |

What I can handle and what I can't ... I actually thought our defense was actually really good Saturday, they had too much to do because the midfield let the opposition through each time. Now as for the game ... I thought that for the most part there were four players, maybe five for RSL who were actually in the game. I think Marlon is a great player, most of the time, but for some reason we just seem to lack control of our own motivation.
The bottom line for me is that I can live with sloppy play as long as we keep trying and play the game with guts ... maybe we just have to really battle for a result. I can live with playing with a weak team if everyone on the field puts in 100% ... maybe we get lucky. I can live with a bad performance as long as we take lessons fromit and we don't see the same perfromance the week after ... maybe we boune back with a great game and a win. I can live with a team on alearning curve ... maybe we actually learn something and make some changes and then we improve. I can handle being beaten by a better team ... that's football, somedays we're the better team. I'll tell you what I can't handle ... no effort, no passion, no energy and no caring after the fact.

This is why I think I finally walked away from the game disapointed. I feel that we just didn't care to win this one...

Completely agree.
Although its still too early (too many MLS winners in the past were terrible in the early going) to really label this team as suck. As for the Chivas/RSL game itself, both teams were terrible. But Chivas at least tried to get some offense. Did Kreis even have a shot all game?

No, when I lable a team as suck there is a certain Homer Simpson quote I will drag out.
But I was disappointed...

Priceless quote from Sigi regarding Jason:
"At times Jason Kreis must have been looking for his trusted companion Tonto, because he looked like the Lone Ranger up front."

As long as Mathis and Williams are humbled by injuries or mental probs, we should not use the 4-5-1 line-up.
Switch to a 4-4-2 at least, and lets get Cila or even Watson in the front line with Kreis.
