I've heard conflicting reports, and can't find the actual result on MLSnet. Sunday's paper said Columbus won 4-1, but a few days before I heard RSL should have a tough game because Columbus got beat 4-1. Does anyone know the official result?

4-1, Columbus.
Yeah, if RSL loses tomorrow it will be embarrassing.
Almost as bad as Frankie getting a brace on us.
UC did play mostly reserves though...

I'm still not sure why Mathis is up front and Kreis is playing behind them. That doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to me. I guess that since it is a friendly, it doesn't really matter tonight, but I'm still confused. Wouldn't Mathis playing behind Kreis up front make more sense?

It seems everyone is forgeting that Kreis did play mid for Dallas at times.
And Mathis did play forward exclusively when he started his career.

Why not? I say change at least implies a willingness to try.

I guess that is true. I guess it can't hurt to try it in tonight's game.

well tonight is going to be interesting, thats for sure. probably lots of subs like in the crew game which had 6 guys come off the bench for them. i hope behncke gets struck by lightning or breaks his leg or something, i would never wish such a thing on anybody but him. that guy is an utter waste and makes me want to throw up ever time he touches the ball. this lineup could be good and the one this weekend could be even better. this lineup modified for saturday (?):

----------------Countess--------------------
----Akwari---Dunny----Pope---Rojas------
-----------------Kamler--------------------
-----Williams----------------Brown-----------
------------------Kries----------------------
--------Mathis----------Washington----------

w/Basagno, Behncke and perhaps Trembly as subs.

sounds like the kreis experiment is working and he is still getting open looks. of course thats in scrimmage and tonights game will be the next step to see if it works. right now with all the problems we face i think the first thing we need to do is find a solid CONSISTENT lineup. something we havent had all year because of injuries, personnel changes, call-ups, etc etc. i would say the first key to future success is finding the people that can be there week in and week out and then finding a few guys who can step up and replace the ones who will miss an occasional game. it seems like we are changing our lineup weekly and Coach E just needs to find something and stick with it. i really hope this is it.

Part Time Supporter!

War Part Time Supporters.

3-2 to RSL.

It was 2-0 to Catolica at halftime.

Selolwane (penalty), Cutler & Akwari, I am pretty sure.

O'Brien missed a penalty.

The announcers said that Watson was a stud.

Besides Watson, the other Men & Women of the match were The Loyalists.

I suppose that it's possible that 1280 could play canned crown noise in the background like 1600 & 1640 do.

But I think that was the Loyalists I heard in the background.
