Flags allowed?

Hey Loyal1 or anyone else that may know, has it been confirmed that flags will be allowed at our home games or do we not know yet on that? I really hope they are allowed.

I never had a problem bringing the Blitzz Supporters Club banner into Rice Eccles.

The FO has said that htye want us to have flags and they will work with stadium security to try and make it happen. But, I doubt it will be a big problem... there are always flags at Utah football games.

The hang up that I've heard quite a bit are flag poles. Is it said that those will be allowed as well?

I was thinking about looking around for those retractable poles that I see at Ute games.

I don't see why the stadium policy would change for RSL games.

Speaking of stadium policy... what is the policy on those really, excrutiatingly annoying plastic horns...?

I put forth a motion to collectively reject them as a club and maybe even start a petition to have RES and the new stadium deemed Plastic Horn-Free Zones.

Now I have no objection to brass horns....

Once again we find ourselves in agreeance, Deuce. If we could outlaw those plastic horns, we'd be the envy of the league! I mentioned to one of my non-soccer friends that it's too bad we couldn't get a soccer atmosphere watching the game on tv, and he said "Here I'll give you your soccer atmosphere: waaaaaaawaaaaaaaaaa" (making the plastic horn noise)

I'll sign the petition. The only holdout may be Jim Umber. He was the plastic horn specialist from the RAF!

(Are you feeling pressured yet, Jim??)

they are about 3 or 4 feet long, plastic, and come in various colors.

hope that helps!!!!
The most recent annoyance by the dreaded horn was during the MLS Cup... I had to turn the sound down on the TV cos it was just too much to bear!

Try sitting at a match and have a really bored kid or really drunk grown up sitting behind you with one of them and you can fully understand why postal workers do the things they do!
