Yes but dorks will be dorks and if a dork is not intelligent enough to figure out that a piece of paper is not as damaging as a lighter or coin then he deserves to be ejected...

It is up to security to make the dork distinction but we can help them to make distinctions if necessary!

The jerks who are throwing the garbage on to the field are a few rows behind us. We sit (stand) just south of the official Loyalist section, in what I think is section 37, and I would say that they are about 6-8 rows back. Just an FYI for the next match.

I don't think I've ever heard the word 'dork' more in a conversation :p

What about dorktacular? Ever heard that one? If not, I'll have to start using it more. 😉

Deuce, you're being entirely too logical about the dorks.

Said dorks do not apply logic (or any sort of common sense for that matter), hence their dorkdom.

I can't see anything smaller than streamers from where I sit, so I haven't personally witnessed any dorks chucking weird things, but if it's that big of a problem, then someone who has actually seen it ought to call the FO and address with them so that they can address it with stadium security.

There is one point I want to make before we continue this debate!

We all know that the perpetrators are likely not on this forum so we are in essence "preaching to the chior" on this subject...

The true test of our loyalty will be when we start getting people ejected for being dorks!

❗

As you know, dorks tend to think they are actually cool and have a right to their dorkish ways. When confronted, they often get beligerant.

Do we know if they've been sitting in the same seats all along? If so they are season or mini-plan owners. If that is so, find out their seat numbers and turn them in to the F/O. They can assign a security guy to watch them and take care of the problem that way. And none of us would have to confront them.

If we can't find out their exact seat numbers, then just a range would do. They can have that area watched and catch the bad guys in the act.

The FO is well aware of The Loyalists & dorks.

The league called when the lighter hit Waibel. We can get a reputation if we don't watch it.

They are also aware of the difference between streamers and "stuff".

It's true that most are responsible and want to enjoy the game. Let's keep it a celebration of our team and not be jerks.
