Take your fascist ideas elsewhere, chunderiffic! If you hate the UC so much, go move to northern Arizona! That'll teach you! :P

Prime, I found the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood for you and your family. Check it out here! You could even but the RSL practice field in your yard!

I would recommend, in no particular order:

1. Park City
2. Sugarhouse
3. Holladay
4. Draper
5. Alpine
6. Eagle Mountain
7. Bountiful
8. North Provo

Stay away from:

1. West Valley
2. Midvale
3. Rose Park
4. Central City (Salt Lake)
5. South Provo
6. West Provo

West Valley and Midvale have the highest crime rates in Utah. I'm not sure about crime rates in the nice areas I mentioned. I have lived in Park City (Kimball Junction) and really enjoyed it. It's in the mountains and only about a 30 minute drive from Salt Lake. It's very serene and quiet and the people are friendly, for the most part.

Rose park isn’t so bad. I’ve lived here most of my life…and I’ve never been shot. Not once 😉

If you want good prices and don't mind a bit of a commute to SLC try Centerville, Kaysville and Layton.

All relatively inexpensive and nice low crime, friendly areas.

I lived in Rose Park between 1972 and 1980, real close to Riverside Park. I had a rough time growing up there, so I'm a little biased. Rose Park has good parts and bad parts. I just remember getting beat up a lot as a kid growing up there.

Actually, the part I'm in isn't so bad. A little south of me is the "bad" part. A few years ago we had some problems with gangs spray painting our shed and some fences around the neighborhood, but nothing recently. This area is really starting to grow.

Thanks for resurrecting an old thread (again!) guys.
Yes, as you know from my other recent thread, I am still trying to move out there.
And if I could afford this house ($29mil) that Stars is suggesting, I wouldn't have to be asking help to do so. 😉

Thanks again for all the suggestions. Keep them coming.

I noticed that a lot of the RSL players live in PC. Is it a little more diverse out there or just more chique?

Okay, in my defense...I don't really dislike Utah County more than other parts of Utah. I was trying to explain what a "Utah Mormon" is.

Oddly, what I like best about Utah County (that it is dominated by BYU) is probably exactly what other people hate about it. And I just love watching those mountains burn year after year. That is seriously so cool. I'll bet some people think that is not a good thing either.
