Hahaha no not me anyway... the content was not the issue I saw... it was the censorship that I think Ska was arguing. So if someone censors your shirt... I suppose you will have to remove it! :D

but seriously wear it if you want... it won't offend me!

Wear it!!! I dare ya!!!

It was just a matter of time, wasn't it?

Oh come on that was such a priceless setup you could not possibly have expected me to pass up that gem! No matter how lame it was....

That was a clever come back. I must be tired, it didn't occur to me to say it. What time are things starting at Iggy's on Friday?

Didn't they used to sing "Jason Kreis, Superstar" in Dallas like all the time?

Did Kreis ever speak out against that? If so, can someone point to where?

The Inferno started that and were using Big Soccer to try and persuade us to have it continue.

The tie to a Broadway musical may make that different to him? I don't know, it is pure conjecture on my part.

We still do sing it in the Loyalists section. I don't know why it doesn't bother him or maybe it does. Maybe because it is a musical and his real name is used. The only thing that links it to the musical is the melody. I would guess that it isn't much different than using the melody of a hymn for a chant.

I don't know for sure, but I do know that he definitely doesn't like "Jesus Kreis" at all. Would you?

In fact, I'm not even sure if there would have been a problem if the banner had read "Jason Kreis, our Savior" instead of what it did. I still think it would have made Jason uncomfortable, but would have probably made it past the banner censors.

I asked the security dude why they had to take it down. He said it was because it said "Jesus" instead of "Jason," or it would have been fine. He said somebody with the team asked it to be taken down when they were in the other section, and so he couldn't allow them to put it back up over by us. If somebody with our own team wants it down, then I'm okay with that.

I agree with Deuce, in case anyone gives a damn about my opinion. The FO is bending the rules for us to have drums, flags, banners, etc... so we have to go by the parameters they set.

Plus, think of all the stuff we ARE getting away with. Trumpets blaring inches away from opposing player's heads, etc... Let's be sure not to pull another Salt Lake Tribune email campaign and get all upset about one little thing, when for the most part things are great.

Which reminds me, those of you who switched away from the Trib are crazy. They have had TONS of coverage, so much so that I've heard people call them the "Real Salt Lake Tribune."

...remember we can always write and thank the Trib (and the DesNews and anyone else) for their coverage!

If they had already been asked to take it down, I suppose that makes more sense. I'm not worried about it yet.
