DJ, Hatch and Monson just spent a few minutes talking about RSL and the grass woes. Hatch is almost starting to sound like he knows a little bit about what he is talking about. He was trashing Williams, too.

I missed Fox (not a fan of Rungee time), and I flipped constantly through the other channels. Here's my scorecard:
Ch 4: D- Brief mention doesn't warrant much more than that.
Ch 2: B+ Good discussion of the team, I'm glad they dedicated at least a few minutes to the team.
Ch 5: I have to break this down and give it 2 grades. 1) The section on DJ and his DreamKeeper foundation gets an A+ . DJ seems like a class act and KSL dedicated at least 5 minutes to his aid to a girl with cerebral palsy. Good job. 2) Actual Real coverage D-. Barely any mention of the team. The "Kickin' it with Kirkland" intro (GAG) lasted longer than the mention of the loss.

Overall, great job Ch 2!

Kirkland just sucks. I want to know what KSL was thinking when they hired this clown. I don't even watch Sports Beat unless Zippy is hosting, or if I know about a guest that I want to listen to.

I can't remember what channel it was but the video of DJ at practice was classic. The whole thing was bleeped out :p

I think that was Ch 2. You're right, it was awesome. He said something like "Jeez** <bleep> <bleep>." It didn't sound like he was too impressed with the grass.

That was 2. They were talking about how the bad turf was in our lad's heads before the game.

I was just sitting there laughing because it was a perfect DJ moment. Plus my other favorite DJ moment of the night was him "riding" that childrens toy truck or whatever it was.

HibaIssa -

Did you get a chance to see any of the other coverage? If so, what did you think?

LOL

Yes I did. I have a hard time remembering what stations did what though (I was going back and forth). I think I’m going to have to agree with most of your post, I would give a little more credit to ch. 2 though. They did spend the most time, even though most of it seemed to be negative.

I personally hate ch. 4, they never have anything good to say, I try and avoid them at all costs.

Thanks for the advice. Going back and forth between just two stations should make it easier for my wife to watch TV with me. šŸ˜‰
